Orange becomes the first Kenyan Telco to launch a self care smartphone app

Monday, June 9, 2014

Orange has launched the first e-care app; the myOrange app, in the Kenyan market. The app offers Orange mobile subscribers a personalised account management experience. It allows them to check their credit balance, recharge their account and manage their subscription of Orange services. The GPS enabled app comes with a feature map that will enable customers to locate Orange and partner shops across the country.

“We are therefore innovating daily to come up with better avenues through which our customers can access our services easily and with simplicity, as well as give feedback on the products and solutions that we roll out in the market,” says Company CEO Mickael Ghossein.
The zero rated app is designed for Android phones and will keep users updated on the latest promotions, offers and services from Orange. When downloading it, one’s data offer (4MB) will be used, no other data deductions will be made.

The app is located on the Orange Kenya WAP site orangewap.orange.co.ke/myorange.php and the Orange Kenya commercial website: www.orange.co.ke. It can also be downloaded from the Google Play Store with the keywords “myOrange Kenya”.
